This TED 20 "conversion" must be rare - I have never seen one anything like it. Does anyone have any details ?

Think its an Italian Selene conversion.
Think they used a Willys jeep axle

There was someone in one of the old tractor mags doing a conversion using a Land Rover front axle cannot recall what transfer box he used, but this axle and rims look a bit Land Rover ish fitted with 7.50x16 dumper tyres. Regards Alan.

So this may be a recent conversion then - was hoping that it was a Harry Ferguson prototype. Always thought Selene was French rather than Italian - only involved with Four Wheel Traction (based in North Audley Street, London at one time) myself and don't believe they did TE 20 - mostly Massey 100 Series. Certainly a hint of Land Rover here. What would Harry Ferguson have thought ? He liked the idea of four wheel drive himself but it sits uncomfortably with the weight transfer concept of his Ferguson System.

Can not say for sure if this is one of those home conversion jobs but the article was about seven or eight years ago, there was also a couple of "Gray Fergy" Doe s about.Regards Alan.

I think it is a homemade conversion and a Land Rover axle, Selene never used Land Rover axles in their conversions.
